The Hodge family & the nursery made of dreams

– THE BRIEF –

Designing this playful and calm nursery was the greatest of honours and the biggest of responsibilities. Because small though it may be, that room had to give it large and sing of wonderment and possibility. 

The families story is theirs to tell, but they were overseas for most of the design process (and it was lockdown) so ideas and updates were shared on Facetime. In their absence, I saw the design through from the initial idea, right down to un-packing bed sheets and plumping cushions on a stormy summer afternoon, ready for their return home. 

I am beyond happy that I got it right for the magic little person who now calls this her room.
