The Brinklows welcoming entrance space and its bespoke hide-the-clutter storage.
– THE BRIEF –
Entrance halls often sit at the bottom of our decorating to do list, despite being our welcome home. The Brinklows felt theirs (which suffered from the common condition of family dumping ground) was letting down their modern streamlined home. Throughout the house there are subtle hints of Morocco and they had already chosen the stunning tiles. I carried this through with a welcoming and bright scheme, using luxurious brass fittings and accessories that echoed the country they love.
I also designed a bespoke under the stairs unit to store away all of that outdoorsy stuff. Without the space for a much wanted console table, I incorporated shelving for a light source and to store bits and bobs like loose change and door keys. Because it’s not just the children who need a place to put stuff when they walk through the door.

”Rebecca quickly picked up on our tastes and produced a theme which was (without us realising) exactly what we were after. She also designed a built in storage solution. Our hallway clutter has gone and my mind feels clearer because of it! Our hallway feels like part of our home now.”
